We’ve updated how site upgrades work giving better integration with Paypal. You should not see a disruption to the service we offer and if you have a free site you can continue to use the site for free. We still accept applications for free websites as well. New Site Admin & SEO Tags November 2011

This month website owners will notice a new site admin. Free users will be activated into easy admin mode, whilst premium members will have the choice of both. The easy admin is a little more eloquent and…. Well……. “Easy” on the eyes whilst the standard admin is more feature rich and some would say a little more complicated but alas with whistles and bells comes complexity.

Of course those premium members may much prefer the ease of easy admin and so may remain in that mode for day to day tasks. :-)

We have also added the options within your post SEO section to include Post Tags as keywords meaning that you don’t need to duplicate your typing efforts needlessly. :-)

Better SEO – August 2011

We have now added better SEO options including the ability to add custom search engine titles, descriptions and key words. You can also use SEOMoz!

Chat Options – August 2011

Every year we look into the current chat system we run and then consider new options and alternatives which might be better suited.

And if you are wondering when is best to go into the chat rooms then………….

Our paranormal and supernatural chat rooms tend to busiest during radio shows which are currently on Sunday and Tuesday evenings, 8 – 10PM (BST in summer and GMT the rest of the year).

So the options…..

Later this year we will be looking into the possibility of allow each website to have their own chat room. This will be in the form of a new extension which you can install on your site with a few configuration options such as room name, subject and whom are moderators/owners of the room.

We may also be opening up the possibility for you to be able to login from desktop clients as well, although at this point we are unsure on how “open” this might be. We may develop a branded client or leave it open to many.

Anyway, keep a lookout for more information later in the year!

Ghosts-UK Chat #Issues 31st May 2011

We are currently having issues with our Ghosts-UK chat rooms, these chat rooms are used throughout our network including Supernatural World. This issue came about after configuring some vital software on the server hosting our chat.

We are working to rectify the problem and chat should be restored again soon.
